At Slade Veterinary Hospital, we’re prepared to support you and your pet throughout the entire reproductive process. Below are some reproduction FAQs that might answer any questions. Feel free to call us at (508) 875-7086 for any other concerns about breeding.

How do I contact one of the reproduction team members at Slade Veterinary Hospital?

Please talk to one of our receptionists who can set you up with an appointment or refer you to one of our technicians or reproductive doctors. If they are not immediately available, all messages are documented and they will return your phone call within 24 hours. Please let the receptionist know if this is an urgent issue.

How can I prepare for my upcoming visit?
  1. Fill out and bring pertinent forms. You can also email them to reception@sladevet.com.
  2. Please bring the following paperwork for all reproductive appointments:
    • AKC (or other) registration certificate, if available
    • AKC (or other) DNA number/certificate, if available
    • Copy of current rabies vaccine certificate
    • Copy of negative brucellosis test if we are not performing this
    • Current medical records
  3. Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to allow for paperwork and brucella testing, if necessary.
  4. We accept credit cards, debit cards, or cash for our reproductive services.
